Telephone waiting times

We are currently experiencing longer waiting times for calls to be answered than we are satisfied with.

We apologise whole heartedly that patients are sometimes waiting longer than average for their call to be answered. We are working very hard to correct this problem by recruiting more staff to join our reception team at the surgery. We hope to have recruited 3 new receptionists in the very near future, and thank you for your patience during this process.

In the meantime, we would like to draw your attention to our online access facility. Appointments can be booked, cancelled or changed online. You can also order your repeat medication at the same time.

Using this facility may help in the future, and avoid the need for you to telephone or visit the surgery. You will need to come to the surgery, with 2 forms of identification so that you can register for this service.

A Receptionist will then complete the registration on our system. This generates a registration letter which you need to keep. It contains all the relevant codes and passwords to enable you to access the link on our website, called Patient Access.
