FY1 or FY2 (A Foundation doctor) is a grade of medical practitioner in the United Kingdom undertaking the Foundation Programme – a two-year, general postgraduate medical training programme which forms the bridge between medical school and specialist/general practice training.

ST1,ST2,ST3 etc. Following on from the Foundation training a further period of training is undertaken. This is between 3-7 years of training dependant on specialty (GP or Hospital specialty). Referred to as ST1 / ST 2 / ST 3 etc.

We have recently been approved to start training medical students from the University of Cambridge in addition to the students that we train from London Medical Schools. We are proud to help train the next generation of doctors and GPs.
